Lisa, You have gotten even better than the last time I looked. The fish are great. You have managed to make them look slimey and fragile. I feel compassion for the fish. They are portrayed in such a way that it’s hard to look away.
In your latest paintings I notice that you have certain details that are very realistic that my eye keeps going back to. These are good.

I like variety – some shorter poses (30-60 min) and some longer poses (2-4 hours). I am interested in drawing with a variety of media and painting, too, when the pose is longer. Weekend days would be great! But weekday evenings can work, depending on what I have going on. My schedule varies from week to week depending if I am modeling somewhere. I don’t necessarily want an instructed class, but appreciate assistance in the form of a critique or suggestion from time to time. I am interested in modeling, too! I have been modeling during the past couple of years at local colleges. These include the Art Institute of Schaumburg, Waubonsee Community College, College of DuPage, Benedictine University, Elgin Community College, North Central College, Westwood College in Woodridge, McHenry Community College, and Wheaton College.

Hi Andrew – I was working with the drips as an effect for some time, to show the elusiveness of the object as presented. However due to health concerns regarding excessive solvent use, I have abandoned that technique in favor of stronger abstract contrasts.
