Based on your feedback, I’ve decided to do some evening painting live, in front of the venerable studio audience. Join me Monday night 7pm CST when I start a series of 4 portraits of my daughters (5 if I can get my stepdaughter to visit!).

I’ll still do Wednesday mornings too.
Hello! I have added a few new workshops through June. Based on your requests, I’ve also added some midweek and some later start times – so those folks on the other side of the planet can join in. Thank you and keep those requests and comments coming!

Hi all, I’ll be back to my regular Wednesday morning live ustream channel tomorrow at 9:30 am. http://tinyurl.com/lisagloria
Let’s see… what should I paint. Just kidding – flowers!
12 x 9, oil on panel. After it dries there might need to be some glazing in the darks, but this one is done.
I’m working on a really big bouquet of tulips. You can join me to watch, live, Tuesday morning at 9:30 CST from http://tinyurl.com/lisagloria (Ustream channel).
This is it after day 1 -
Here are the pansies at the end of day 2…
12 x 9, oil on canvas. Demonstration painting for today’s Alla Prima Online Oil Painting Workshop.

On the easel, Pansies in a Copper Bowl, day 1. 9 x 12 inches, oil on panel.
You may notice, I’m shifting toward more complex compositions and more difficult subject matter. There’s a huge bouquet of pink and white tulips on my easel right now. I feel I’ve been working up to these paintings for quite some time, and now is as good a moment as any to leap forward.
please bear with me for a few days.
