Figure Painting workshop, September

Please join me for a 2-day oil painting workshop on painting the female form, September 18-19, 2010, 10am-4pm. The figure is considered by many to be the pinnacle of artistic expression, and it contains many challenges and difficulties. This workshop will discuss breaking down the challenges into manageable tasks and solving issues as they arise.

Each step will be explained, including laying out the drawing, pre-mixing the palette, applying each layer, modeling and blending, solving problems, and finishing the painting. Critiques will be offered for each days’ results.

This workshop will be conducted in my studio, 7 W Downer Place, Aurora, IL.
