Lisa, You have gotten even better than the last time I looked. The fish are great. You have managed to make them look slimey and fragile. I feel compassion for the fish. They are portrayed in such a way that it’s hard to look away.
In your latest paintings I notice that you have certain details that are very realistic that my eye keeps going back to. These are good.

This is similar to but better executed than O’Keeffe’s “Dead Rabbit and Copperpot.” It’s engaging and begs narrative, but the viewer will find only the one they bring to it.
