I just got back from the framers a few days ago.  Here are some of the pieces that are at Around the Coyote this weekend, 1275 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago.

I’ll update the galleries on the site soon, but I thought I’d show you them in bulk.

    Hi Lisa,
I am a big fan of your work, but, and forgive my ignorance, I do not understand why most of the “New Works” have what appears to be paint runs through them (if that is the correct expression).
I would appreciate it if you could explain this to me as I think I must be missing the point.
    Yours
    Andrew.

Hi Andrew – I was working with the drips as an effect for some time, to show the elusiveness of the object as presented. However due to health concerns regarding excessive solvent use, I have abandoned that technique in favor of stronger abstract contrasts.

    Thanks for looking.
    Lisa
