This is the still life from the still life workshop that ended last weekend. It was over 2 sessions, and the workshop covered realistic multi-layer approaches to still life. Even though it’s a simple composition, we covered lots of useful textures! 9 x 12, oil on canvas.

This is so lovely. The subdued lighting and the side view of interesting shapes give this such a wonderful mood.
Peonies are one of my favorite flowers. You have done a wonderful job capturing the essence of this difficult subject in your sketch. Thanks for sharing.
