These ideas are becoming more clear now, especially with the flowers.  I’d love to share the thoughts behind them but I fear it would be a bunch of artspeak bordering on the blah-blah-blah, so I trust you all to interpret them how you like.  :-)

Hydrangeas are a special challenge – i love blue flowers – they’re so unusual and expressive.  Hydrangeas seem so prim and forceful with their delicate individual flowers jostling aroud the ball shape of the whole blossom.

I’ll have some comissions to share in the next few days also.

I just wanted to let you know about a new forum for artists as well as musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers, http://www.PutItOn.com. As an artist I think that the mission is really great. The site gives you a free gigabyte of space for portfolio, there is no commission taken for sales, audio and visual works can been streamed in their entirety, you can create live personal broadcasts for your followers, and anything you write will be translated into 10 languages. So check it out!

  3. Lisa, I have enjoyed seeing your work. Especially interessting how youve moved to the very loose with the dripping effects. Ive been experimenting with this same concept (a robe, and beach scenes that have a white boarder around them)but in my mind wanting the dripping effect to run off the canvas – sort of micing seen with unseen! aNYWAY – great transformation in your works!

  4. Lisa,
I love your work. I have been following for a while. I am really enjoying the feel of your new pieces. There is a dark romance to them. Sort of like french music:)
    Keep up the wonderful work
    Michele
