    Great painting! Love the drips which you don’t find
    very often in an oil painting.

  4. For me the drips give tension to what could be simply a “beautiful painting” in a similar way that the “distressed” background to the lavendar does. Love them.

  5. Fascinating contrast between the energetic abstract drips and rough texture primer with the Dutch style realism of that calm still life.
