WIP Pansy
On the easel, Pansies in a Copper Bowl, day 1. 9 x 12 inches, oil on panel.
You may notice, I’m shifting toward more complex compositions and more difficult subject matter. There’s a huge bouquet of pink and white tulips on my easel right now. I feel I’ve been working up to these paintings for quite some time, and now is as good a moment as any to leap forward.

I started painting about a year ago. And I just wanted to say that I have been watching you on youtube, and have really tried hard to get this realism down.
